Kerly Bwoga

Kerly Joy Bwoga is a Jamaican-born, London-raised advocate, entrepreneur and podcaster championing people with narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia. The daughter of teachers, she started volunteering early—counselling teens, helping children with special needs, and cultivating loves for animals, photography and the outdoors.

While studying Music Production & Development, she was diagnosed with Narcolepsy Type 1 at 15; later sleep studies added sleep apnea, REM-behaviour disorder and periodic limb-movement disorder.

Having lived with narcolepsy longer than without, she knows the daily grind intimately. Her first advocacy step—designing fund-raising tees and badges for Narcolepsy UK—snowballed into founding NapsForLife CIC. The nonprofit arms people with sleep disorders with tools, resources and community: weekly Zoom groups, one-to-one support and bold public-awareness drives.
